I still maintain that this is the best game in the series. This game has an atmosphere like no other entry could deliver.
My mom got this game for me by chance. There was a community raffle and she happened to win it. Until then I didn't know anything about the title, and for a while the only thing I cared about was that it came with a free memory card (59 blocks of space!). But after I gave it a shot it left a tremendous mark on my taste in video games, namely my love of simulation games.
Animal Crossing for the GameCube admittedly has the least amount of "things to do" compared to its sequels, but I think it's a good example of quality over quantity.
