A Seinfeldian Thought

## As Seen On TV I moved into an apartment recently. There's been a lot of new roads to learn and places to go, but the main thing that's taken some adjusting to is the existence of the doorbell. You see, I've never had a doorbell before. The house I grew up in did not have one either (it was a mobile home). So the use of a doorbell continues to surprise and spook me. I'll be reading or eating or something and then suddenly the doorbell rings and I'm scrambling every which way. Which is why I now make this proposal: someone should invent something which warns you of an impending doorbell ring. A pre-doorbell ring ringer. It would save me a lot of scrambling, that's for sure.
